After the rise of Bluetooth speakers, the sonic region of personal space suddenly came under constant assault by uncaring and aloof music listeners. Rather than try to solve the complicated mental disorders that would cause someone to play their music loudly in a public space like a subway, the team at Comute quickly realized they needed to take matters into their own hands. Using a similar algorithmic identifier as apps like Shazam, they were able to craft software that gives users control over any sound assailants near by. Using Comute, one is able to identify local sound devices, lower their volume, mute, or override control of them.
